The Samsung Solve for Tomorrow education contest is open to public school teachers in grades 6-12. This multi-phase contest begins with teachers submitting an entry form that includes answering three questions. Phases 2 and 3 are developing a lesson plan and creating a video. Teachers work with their students to brainstorm important issues in their school's community and ways to apply STEM to find a solution. Winners share $2 million dollars' worth of technology from Samsung.
Entries are due October 31, 2014. For details and examples of previous winners' projects, visit Science Buddies' blog post.
