"Our mission is to inspire and support students to connect to technology education and career opportunities through corporate, community and academic partnerships."
The New York State Board of Regents has laid out several 'alternate pathways' for students to earn a high school diploma. Previously, all high school students were required to pass five Regents exams including two in history (United States and World). Beginning in the Spring of 2015, students will have the choice to opt out of one of the history exams and choosing one of five alternatives: Career & Technical (CTE), Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Humanities, Arts, or Languages other than English.
