The University Research & Review website offers students a personality profile to help learn career options that best fit them.  Based on the responses, they will provide up to five schools that fit your criteria.  This resource is useful for high school students still deciding what they want to study as well as current college students who may find they are looking to change majors.

Grant to Promote Manufacturing Skills

The Center for Science Teaching & Learning has received a grant for $440,000 from the Toyota USA Foundation to promote manufacturing skills.  Working with the Long Island Forum for Technology (LIFT) and the Composite Prototyping Center, the CST&L will be offering a program for 100 Nassau County young adults aged 19-25 to obtain hands-on manufacturing training and job opportunities with several local companies having committed to hiring graduates.
