Computer-Based Math Education

Logo CBM

computerbasedmath.org is a project to build a completely new math curriculum with computer-based computation at its heart—alongside a campaign to refocus math education away from historical hand-calculating techniques and toward relevant and conceptually interesting topics.

In collaboration with UNICEF, this year's summit kick-starts global action on math education and serves as a catalyst for major change. By bringing together leaders from industry, technology, education, and government from a range of countries, we will address the question of how to deliver improved life chances worldwide by collaborating on a fundamental rethink of the math curriculum. Join us and help map out a definitive pathforward for fundamental math education reform to help students around the globe to flourish in the twenty-first century.

Location: UNICEF Headquarters in New York City
