"Our mission is to inspire and support students to connect to technology education and career opportunities through corporate, community and academic partnerships."
Did You Know...
Our companies need a competitive, technology-skilled workforce, but enrollment in the “STEM” disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math is not keeping up with our job needs. Let’s give our students the opportunities!
Our Mission …
Inspire and support students to connect to technology educational and career opportunities through corporate, community and academic partnerships
Who We Are ...
Formed in 2007, ConnectToTech volunteers are business professionals; high school, middle school, and university educators; and supporters from other community organizations.
What What We Do ...
Over 100 volunteers annually have engaged with over 9,000 students and teachers in over 30 school districts and universities on Long Island alone to connect the academic school day to real-world technology experience through workplace tours and job shadowing, technology trade shows, presentations by professionals in school, and more.
An extensive set of online information resource material is made available through www.ConnectToTech.org, STEMsearch.ConnectToTech.org for regional activities, www.facebook.com/ConnectToTech for social communities.
